Medical Information Bureau & Attending Physician's Statements

MIB DURING INTERVIEW & NO MORE APS's

Attending Physician Statements cause delays and are costly.

Since well over 90% of applications having an APS ordered are not placed, APS's will no longer be ordered.

If during the telephone interview, an MIB Code (MIB check beginning in mid April) or Prescription Check suggests an Applicant will not qualify for the plan being submitted, FinalExpense.net will be advised of any medical ailment and after discussing with the applicant, we may rewrite the application under the appropriate plan and perform a new interview.

This new enhancement will prevent a declination by allowing us to rewrite the application during the initial visit rather than returning a second time.

If an Applicant believes the MIB Code and/or Rx Check is incorrect, then we will contact our Risk Assessment division.
